things i need to know about swapping out a 305 for a 350
I have an 87 Camaro SC with a carbureted 305 that I'm wanting to swap out for a 350. How difficult is this to do? I'm still learning when it comes to this stuff so bare with me lol. Is there a lot of changes to be made as far as mounts and all that goes? What all needs to be changed in the car after the swap. Any information would be greatly appreciated guys

the 305 and 350 (as well as the 327, 283, etc) uses the same mounts, trans pattern, etc.
For a carb'ed to carb'ed engine swap it's a simple remove and replace.
The only probs you may run into is acc. drive system/pulleys, etc and even then it's no big deal. The ones on the 305 will fit the 350

So would there be any issues when swapping a carbureted engine for a TPI engine?

Yes you get into a lot more issues when going from carb to TPI
You will need the in tank elec fuel pump, pressure reg, fuel system, computer, engine wiring, etc from a TPI car and swap all that over to the carb'ed car.
