Heidts Wants To Know: Which Trans/Bellhousing For LS Swap?
I got an email today from Sean Murphy from Heidts . He wanted to know which were the popular transmission/bellhousings for 3rd gen LS swaps.
Obviously, T56 and 4L60e are the most common, but what other units are being used?
Heidts wants to make sure it's upcoming 3rd gen chassis components are compatible for the guys with LSx swaps.
Post your thoughts here and I'll send Sean a link to this thread.

How about Tremec TKOs. That would take care of any early four speed swaps also.

^ Agreed
Manuals are popular and with T56 prices rising quickly, TKO500/600's become attractive. Lucky for us, common SBC scattershields work great, but how about an adapter flange to add a HTOB to any scattershield
