LS1 Swap Power Steering Pulley Woes

Ok so I purchased the Holley LS1 swap kit and everything seemed to be going great until we went to put the engine in. It appears that the power steering pulley is hitting the steering box. I saw another member had the same style setup but his pulled cleared the steering box. I am at a complete loss as to what to do at this point since I have so much invested in this kit already. The 700r4 transmission is mounted in the factory location and has the factory drive shaft I do believe. Any ideas as to how I can get past this or am I doing something wrong? The only other thing I could think of is installing the engine and then putting the accessories on and see if it clears the steering box that way. I only need like an inch of space to clear it. PLEASE IDEAS!

Re: LS1 Swap Power Steering Pulley Woes

OK nevermind. The problem with my engine was the motor mount brackets I purchased did not have the engine sitting back far enough on the frame. Once we figured that out and adjusted accordingly everything is fine. Hope to hear her crank in the next day or two.
