Stock replacement 350
Stock replacement 350
My 305 is about shot and I'm looking to get a rebuilt or new stock 350. Besides going to a dealer, where can I find just a stock replacement? And I'm hoping not to spend over about $1,500...
Thanks!

Re: Stock replacement 350
www.paceparts.com has a universal 350 long block for $1259. Technically, that's going to the dealer, but unless you can find a rebuilt 350 locally, its a pretty good deal.

Judging from your username you have a 91 and that is a one piece seal roller cam motor. The universal is the 2 piece old flat tappet cam style motor. I would recommend the L05 Caprice roller cam 350 one piece seal motor. http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...id=128&pid=105 for a brand new 3yr/50k mile motor. It is usually the same price or cheaper than a quality rebuild.
