Detroit Muscle's IROC Camaro Project

Has anybody seen this?

I'm always glad to see any kind of 3rd Gen content, but I thought 227 RWHP out of a carbed 350 with Trick Flow 195cc, 2.02 intake, 1,94 heads with 62cc combustion chambers, and a .555/.555 lift, .246/.264 (@.050) cam was pretty anemic.

As usual when something isn't right, they act like it's great and move on.

So, they put a 100hp nitrous unit on it, and made 294 hp, and 351 lb.ft torque.

I think there's something not right there.

Re: Detroit Muscle's IROC Camaro Project

I thought they would have made more power too. Installed headers and but they were running a stock cat back exhaust. Would have been nice to see them work on with the TPI system.

Summit Racing doesn't sell much TPI stuff.

Every thing they do on those shows anymore are simply infomercials for advertisers.

Re: Detroit Muscle's IROC Camaro Project

For the money they are spending it wouldn't be hard to do a budget LS swap. I just wish they would do a high dollar project with a thirdgen. Always do buget builds with them when I see them on tv. Should let one of us showcase our cars on one of those shows.
