1985 trans am with a 350
I am recently thinking of buying a trans am. Theres one that is a 1985 with 350 cammed that's pushing around 400-425hp and has a stall converter of around 2400-2600 rpm what can I expect as far as mpg...I'm use to driving my truck which was a 12 city and 16 highway and wouldn't mind if the car wasted that much of gas.

Well, millions of factors decide the mpg.. If it's truly even pushing 400hp. Unless it's got a dyno sheet, I wouldn't believe what someone says.
If the cam is huge, it's gonna get **** mileage. If it's a minor cam, I doubt it'd make 400hp.
If it's truly 400hp, you're looking at **** mileage.

Converter might be small. What heads?
Dragzine did an article on this cam in a mid 80s 350. The results they got with RHS 180cc heads were around 350hp, 380 ft lbs torque. Average power around 290hp, and 9 inches of vacuum.
