Those manifolds won't work in a 3rd gen. So the question is, can you adapt that tube to a 3rd gen manifold? I've heard of members doing it with headers, not sure it works with manifolds.
sdparts.com used to have an EGR kit for their Vortec TPI manifold. You might want to give them a call and see if they still offer it (couldn't find it on their website).
