Anyone ever install a second level sensor?
I've been reading for a while and I am thankful for all of the good info from you guys. I am doing the LS swap. I had a donor car so I am using the 4th gen, 2002, tank. I want to keep the EVAP system and use autometer gauges. Of course the PCM needs fuel level for EVAP and I can't use that signal for the Autometer. Autometer sells a part number 3262 level sensor. The instructions say you install by drilling a 1 1/2" hole in the top of the tank and install. It looks like it will fit. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks.

Looks like it should work. Id want to pull the pump out and make sure the arm doesnt get caught on the seperator inside the tank. Dont see why you couldnt do it

Thanks for your opinion. I was looking at the tank again tonight. It looks like it will fit on either side of the pump. I was also concerned about it hitting something. I am going to take the pump out later this week and take a look inside.
