ls swap cast iron or aluminum
Looking at doing a ls swap and checking out blocks on summit. I thought aluminum was way togo but was reading specs and they said cast iron handles more hp. I will be going twin turbo trying for some really good hp well above 500. Soshould i go cast iron or aluminum? I sezrched but could not find anything regarding this exact question.

It really depends on how greedy you get.
Aluminum has handled well over 500 from the factory.
Iron has the capability to handle much higher HP.
If I was looking for no more than 700 I would not hesitate running aluminum.

For what it's worth I saw a Sonoma GT with a turbo LS1 (aluminum block) put down 750hp to the wheels at LS fest last year.
