What do I NOT need

I'll be starting my swap in May. 305 to 383 TPI. What conceivably can I take out and leave out so as to make the best power but not screw up the computer. I'm not worried about emissions(OK doesn't check anymore).

Ac, PS, air pump, and maybe a few other things. the ecm does look at the PS and AC but it shouldn't hurt you or cause problems. you can move the battery and use a glass hood for weight savings.

Yeah but I'd kinda like to keep the AC and PS. What's that silver canister looking thing I'm sure I could find in my shop manual, but what is it. Also, I'm taking emissions stuff that will choke a motor what should I look for to take off.

if you want the ecm to still work as it does now don't take anything off. you need the emission stuff, except maybe the air pump, for the ecm to work. doesn't really sound like you want to make all the power you can or you'd lose the ac and maybe the ps.

That silver canister is what holds your freon for your AC!

Then I guess I better not get rid of it. Oh and BTW, I do want as much power as I can get, but this is going to be my daily driver, not a straight drag car. It will see some strip and some road course action but it is mainly going to be my daily driver.
