I'm looking to get a new car, was looking into an 86-90 camaro t-top with (hopefully) a 350 in it. I noticed these are all auto trannies... how hard would it be to put in a 5 speed manual? (I hate automatics) and if I can't get a 350. What should I look for as a base to do an upgrade on?

I did recal a post somewhere where someone put a later model 6 speed in a 3rd gen car... ring any bells?

Its an 86 transam, its got a brand new paint job and is in great condition. 305 tpi, rebuilt 40k ago tranny rebuilt 20k ago with shift kit, jasper rear, turbo exhaust, racing rims, 4 wheel disc, kn&n.
