305-350 is it worth it

currently have a 305 crossfire injection in a 1982 pace car. Have been having some problems regarding the throttle bodies and injectors. I’ve been looking into a 350 to swap and am curious as to wether or not it’s worth it, in regards to if the 305 I have rn were to be in perfect order.

Back in the late 90s i had a CFI pace car also and it gave me fits. I swapped it to a carbed 350 engine and TH350 tranny with 2400 stall while I was in there. IIRC some 041 heads, shorty headers, K1105 cam, and posi unit with 3.73s put it running 13.20s.Really enjoyed destroying C4s and 5.0s with it. In saying that this wasn't a low mileage collector car. It was rough around the edges and I made it what I wanted at the time. If your car is super nice id say fix the CFI, it will be worth more with it. If you want to have some fun with it, well that's up to you. I plan to swap my 305 out very soon myself. I've swapped over to 350s in most third gens I've had and did not regret it.
