Swapping 305 tbi into a 1999 suburban with 454
I got a super good deal on a clean 3/4 suburban and am curious what I’m gonna need to do to put a 96 305 tbi into it. It had a 454 in it that started knocking really bad. I already have the 305 pulled and would much rather use it if it’s not going to be a cluster **** to swap

yeah just have the bottom end of the 454 rebuilt and have the heads freshened up. a lot less work and headache in the long run
