LT1 to Holley Stealth Ram conversion
Hi all. I’m in need with some pro advice. I bought a 383 stroker. The block is LT1 out of a 97 TA. When it was rebuilt to the 383 it had a new intake with a carb on it.
The guy I bought it from wanted to go back to FI and has a Holley Stealth ram on it now. With a distributor. He gave me the Holley EFI computer and wiring harnesses. He said he could never get it going.
first question: is There any reason this set up could not be used on a LT1 block that was an opti spark originally ? I’m trying to get this going but I don’t want to waste my time if they’re not compatible for some reason

Yeah it can work. Guys have done carb conversions with new carb intake and distributor.
gm used to make a optispark block off plate and then you just run the distributor and oil pump driveshaft for the distributor

Re: LT1 to Holley Stealth Ram conversion
so far I have most of it wired in. There are two wires I’m not sure where they go. The white “points Output” wire and the yellow “coil” wire. I’m not 100 percent sure where they go.
as it sits the pcm is not engaging the fuel pump. Not do I believe I’m getting spark or power to my injectors. 12 v switched and 12 v battery is connected and has power. Any tips or is this pcm screwed?
