Hey guys. I'm making a decision on what engine set up to run in my 1991 Trans-Am. Ideally, I want to run a magncharged LS. Will it fit under the stock hood? Will I need a k member that lowers the engine down to make it work?

 

I think the TVS1900 will with proper parts selection, but the TVS2300 not sure.

On top of that, I would like it to fit it under the DSE engine brace. Do any of the aftermarket K members drop the engine down a couple of inches?

 

The hood is the problem with the DSE brace, the Firebird hood doesn't fit over the DSE STB

The Firebird hood is the problem over other STBs too

My QA1 STB doesn't fit under the Firebird hood. punkmaster got the DSE STB and it didn't fit and I have read posts from DSE on Facebook where they confirmed.
Call DSE and ask, maybe they have re-designed it to work, I don't know.
