FRAME REINFORCEMENT

With the following plans below I'm genuinely worried about twisting the frame what can I do other than connectors?

From the last time I posted on here I have done a large ammount of research my current plan is to buy a used LQ4 to swap in I have found someone to fabricate me some mounts for engine and trans. Going to buy a haltech standalone ecu, fully forged internals, t-57 trans, bore it 30 over with a 4 inch stroke to bring it from a 6.0 to a 6.7, boost it. Goal is 800-1000 at the crank this leaves questions however.

Yea it's simple, weld an 8 point cage in there. Once your done that throw a good fuel system in there then a 9" or s60 rear end

A word of caution tho when going for big power, costs can and probably will balloon out of control. I did my entire drivetrain over the last 5 years and some other stuff and I'm sitting around $35,000 so far. I got it running last month and there's still body and paint to deal with

Re: FRAME REINFORCEMENT

The Cage should be tied into Sub-Frame Connectors.

Both styles of Sub-Frame Connectors (tied together) and a 6 or 8-Point Cage tied into the Sub-Frame System works very well.
I have done a few Dozen F-Bodies this way (as well as Cages for faster safety regulations).

I'm just wanting to put something on there - subframe connectors that is, that works with a factory setup, single exhaust, factory cats, and no clanking on anything when driving down the road. have any experience with something that works? not needing super high performance, just want to stiff things up a bit.

The Sub-Frame Connectors that run along the Body Pinch Weld (out-board Connectors), will work for you.
Spohn and others offer them.

I am not certain, but I believe that you would not want to use the Alston style, (in-board Connectors) as they may interfere with exhaust.
