Hi; if I were to get a remanufactured small block/crate motor (itd be a 350), from summit, jeggs or someplace like that, what other parts other than an intake, manifold & a distributor would I have to get? I have a 91 Camaro z/28 with an auto trans if that helps

Whatever parts you don't already have. The engine itself bolts right in place of a 305...

Would I have to do any wiring harness work or is it as simple as unplugging it from the 305 sensors and plugging it back into the sensors on the crate engine? Originally Posted by T.L.

It's even simpler than that.
You typically move the sen-sores from your old engine and put them into the new one. Along with everything else. Intake manifold, distributor, exhaust, water pump, etc.
Which is why a "rebuilt" or even "new" engine, in an ANTIQUE car, rarely fixes it and makes it "like new" again... all that old stuff, which is what's REALLY making it run funky and be unreliable and all that, like crudded up injectors, leaky cooling system, wiring that's crumbling, etc., gets re-used. The things that get replaced - castings and such - usually aren't The Problem.
Of course, if your car runs great now and all you're looking to do is add 45 cubic inches, then that's a whole other matter.

yu might / will probably need a prom / injectors / esc if you got a tpi.
if its a tBi then you'll need i think just the injectors?

if its a 91 Z28 I'd expect it to be TPI
I think some sensors e.g. knock do differ between the 305/350 so worth triple checking on a site like rock auto

Get a motor with an intake pattern you already have, 350 injectors, 350 knock sensor and 350 tune. No need to swap the distributor.
