Any 350 will bolt right up. Are you looking for a short block or long block ?

Re: 2 bolt 350

Do you want a new/rebuilt block, or will a used one work?

Re: 2 bolt 350

There are listings on this board for used parts, you'll see a lot of 350s and 355s on there.

www.craigslist.com might have something more local for you, depending on where you live. Usually used.

There are a whole host of aftermarket companies that offer new shortblocks and longblocks. Summit, Jeg's and GMPP are a few, off the top of my head, that have websites and whatnot that you can check out.

Re: 2 bolt 350

Why do you need a 2 bolt? Or do you mean 2 piece rear main seal?

Re: 2 bolt 350

4 bolt mains (stock style) are usually thought of as being superior to 2 bolts, at least to the average garage Joe. Unless you're thinking of drilling for angled 4 bolts later, in which case you'd probably want to custom build your short block with the right forged pistons and all that from the start...

There is no such thing as "needing" a 2 bolt main, unless you plan on replacing the main caps with splayed 4-bolt main caps. And, unless you're planning some serious power, there is no need to plan on that.
