I've got an 84 vette with a 700r4 and a blown stock 205 hp motor...I also happen to have a couple of 3.8 sc from a 99 and 02 grand prix gtp 240hp stock but I've also got smaller sc pulleys and an intercooler as well as a 60mm turbo I was thinking of adding. I've seen post of the boosted 3.8 making 600+ with stock internals. So I planned to do some head work and boost the hell out of it and hope to get 500 minimum. Double the horsepower and drop a couple hundred pounds should be fun... I understand its sacrilegious... But I'm poor... And from what I've read, doable... since I have the 3.8s and cant afford much more! My question is... What woulda I have to do in order to make the 3.8 work with the 700r4? Or would I need a different transmission all together? Thanks for any info and help!
I know... I know... But it is what it is... A Shitbox! And I'm cool with that. Lol

too bad somebody ran the original engine out of oil... A 60* bell housing 700 will be needed(2.8-3.4 v6 f-body or s10) to mount the 3.8 up to
