1896 camaro RS v6 to 6.0 LQ4

currently working on a swap for my camaro RS and i have a 6.0 from a sierra kicking around. I had a guy tell me though that the RS wouldn’t be able to hold the v8 and that when they made the IROC they had the make the frame stronger to support the 350. wondering if any guys on here who have done a similar swap did you guys have to reinforce your frame? Currently thinking about sub frame connectors all around they sell a kit off summit racing, a 6 point cage and a strut tower bar. Do I need to go that extreme or can the frame actually hold a v8 for the guys out there who have swapped the RS camaro. Let me know thank you

Nah, all the cars are the same for practical purposes. Get yourself some subframe connectors and start having fun. My car was a V6, it makes no difference because everything you throw away is the same for V6 and V8.
