87 rs with a 350 tunnel ram
87 rs with a 350 tunnel ram
I just bought a v6 rs and I want to put a mild 350 with a tunnel ram with 2 490 Holleys mainly cause I have the stuff and the car was cheap so beside the front springs, fuel pump and motor mounts what else do I need to look out for ? also should I do new springs or wrecking yard stuff, then how do I eliminate computer and if anyone has any recommendations on motor build I'm listening this is mainly for looks and sound may even run a/c

Re: 87 rs with a 350 tunnel ram
The Power-Train Control Modules for these Cars are as minimal as can be.
They pulsed the Fuel injectors, controlled Ignition Timing Advance and Retard, and last sometimes triggered a Relay for an Electric Radiator Cooling Fan.
Holley Carburetors, a Mech./ Vac. Advance HEI Distributor (4-Pin Ignition Control Module), and a Thermostatic Ground Switch...
All operate with no need for any Power-Train Control Module.
Have FUN!!!
