I found a 2.8 for sale for 150$ with 350km on it, a lot of km but its 150$. If put it in my 86 camaro will it run correctly? From what i have searched on the forum i will have to swap the intake manifold and pretty much all externals of engine and put on the new one. As for the flywheel and clutch i will have to get one for an 82 S10? I know the flywheels change from internal to external 86 and up so i figure mine will not be the correct one for the engine? Any suggestions would be appreciated as i have not bought the engine yet…

 

I'd be somewhat curious to know if the shifter location from the S10 will come out of the same area that your fbody would unless you had plans to swap the tailshafts from one unit to the other.
