From TH200 to 4l60e
From TH200 to 4l60e
Hey all!
so I just found out 2 days ago that my car didn’t have a 700r4 in it like I thought (I bought it as a roller). It came with the 3-speed th200. My question is, I’ve already done my ls swap and I’m going finishing touches and I need to figure out shift cable options and potentially new shifter options If mine isn’t compatible from the TH200. The cable from my shifter was cut, and the cable from my 4l60e was cut, but all mounts and brackets are there. Any help would be great! Thanks!
edit: my 4l60e is a newer 6 bolt tail and I bought a 4l60e shift cable from Amazon and it seems incredibly too long to connect to my trans and then go straight up to my shifter.

Re: From TH200 to 4l60e
Get a shifter for 83-up 700. 4L60E is the same in that regard.
Many of the "universal" shift cables are too long. Just coil it up and set it on top of the transmission, out of the way.
