Have A Question
I have a question to ask anyone that would know the answer. I was thinking about making the 350 in a 1992 Z28 a 391 stroker. Well I was looking at some numbers of what the storker ould be putting out and it has a pretty low peak torque then it flattens out. Well I was thinking to myself If I have that much torwue I will just spin the tires forever. I know a guy who has a 91 Z and he had a 383. Well He had so much torque it ripped a wheel off. And I dont want so much torque that I am just going to sit there and spin the tires. I was thinking of just doing a 350 or a 355 what do you guys think?

I had traction "issues" with the stock LG4.
3rd gens need traction help. But, it's out there. Anytime you increase power, you need to improve traction and generally beef things up at the same time. So, this is simply another area to spend money when putting in a larger, more powerful engine.

this might help
first off do you have an a4? some things to do are traction bars. don't go with to low of a gear. 3.73 are nice for a daily driver and some track useage. are you having the traction prob while racing or from everyday driving. if it's racing try nitto 555 street radials. they hook up nice at the track and if you have the money just get a pair of rims with some slick. if it is daily driving does it spin if you barely tap the gas for only when you put your foot in it. cars are made to go fast but under certain condition they have there flaw uless you have a heavy foot you shouldn't be having traction problems.
