Same as Impalla/Caprice LT1. Iron headed 260HP. The heads are supposed to flow better than the Vette and f-body LT1 heads.

The head are cast iron heads, the aluminium ares better performance wise because it temperature stays low all the time.

I always thought that you are likely to run into more problems running aluminum on the street because they are likely to warp at the high temperatures of everyday driving, but there are so many aftermarket aluminum heads out there I guess I was misled somewhere along the way.

Not trying to harp on you 83 MidniteZ, but why does everyone think that aluminum heads warp?

Aluminum is about 100 times more likely to crack than warp. Iron heads warp do to any fast fluctuations in temp. Aluminum just snaps.

I guess it's one of those "a battery will go dead faster if you leave it on concrete" kinda things. One guy said it, and now it's gospel.

The iron lt1 heads flow about 20 cfm better than the aluminun versions. They do not have screw in studs though. The aluminun heads are lighter. I havent heard of to many guys having warping probs with them though.
