Sure. Check the tech articles and carb board.

It's a step backwards in technology. And illegal (technically, typically) from an emissions standpoint. TPI will always be cheaper to gas up.

But, it can be done.

TPI is perfect for a 305. Nothing will do you better. if you want more power then start getting things that will transfer to the next engine as well as having it do good for you now such as SLP 1-3/4 headers and a good 3" exaust system.

I shouldn't be that hard to get the TPI computer to run the Ram Jet. You'd probably be saving yourself some money rather than paying $4000 or whatever for their complete package. You could also use your TPI computer to run a LT1 intake or a single plane EFI intake like this one http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...901-101-1.html Its about $250

Why would you waste $$$ on that POS setup? Go with a carb... it's easier! Turn a few screws and such, no messing with chips and all

Honestly, it all depends on what you want out of your car. TPI is good for some applications, maybe a base/runners, maybe you'd need bigger injectors and TB. It depends on how high you want to rev the motor. A carb or a miniram will do better if you want to go to 6500 consistantly.

That whole arguement about TPIs getting better gas milage is weak. I get about 25mpg on the highway with my carb and I doubt EFI does so much better. 5.7 should know that it's all in the tuning

If you are made of cash, then ditch the 305/TPI and start from scratch!
