What is the biggest crate engine youve seen in or can pt in a3rd generation camaro without many complications? Im planning on getting a Chevy crate engine putin and iwant lots of powe for around 5 grand but dont know what to get any tips. I plan on using this as my daily driver!

 

ZZ502 is the biggest "crate engine" offered by GM. The 502/502 package is just another big block and big blocks fit with little to no problems.

 

Did you need to be more specific, like, "What is the biggest SBC crate engine..."? For a daily driver, I would assume that's what you meant.

In front of me, April 2002 edition of "Popular Hot Rodding" magazine, top of cover: "443 SMALL BLOCK: BIGGEST YOU CAN BUY?" Inside, the article tells all about the Motwon small-block from World Products. Cost? Not stated, but implied to be in the 10-grand range.

Back down to earth - you're probably looking at a 383.

Oh, you said "without any complications". That rules out a 383, even the 350 HO and ZZ4. Looks like a Caprice replacement 350 or something like that. Meets all your criteria.
