Callies crank you dont need one not with 525 horse Scat cranks depending on forged or cast will be stronger than you need. other companies to look at

Most of these cranks cost more than $1,000 all top of the line stuff.

Callies
Crower
Cola
Lunati
Scat
Cat
LA Enterprises

Callies has the best reputation of the two, but they will run several hundred bucks more than a Scat crank. When I built my engine I went with Cola, they have quality cranks and are less expensive than Callies and better quality than Scat(a friend of mine runs them in the engines in his drag car and he races super gas and has never had a crank failure). I don't have Cola's telephone number, but you can find it in most hot rod magazines, call them and talk to Raoul (sp?) he's very knowledgeable and personable and will answer any question that you have about cranks. Hope this helps.

BTW, a forged Cola crank will run about $800.00 from Scoggin Dickey.

I don't want to sound bias (Callies is one of my late model sponsors) they are the best cranks for American V8's (word around the pits). Used Crower in the past, very good too. Number one used crank used in NASCAR. You may want to look at their DragonSlayer line. 700 bucks for a 4340 forging not bad.

We turn 8900 rpm's for up to 200 laps each weekend...never a crank falure...valvetrane...thats another subject...lol

Hope this helps.
