ok i wanna put vortec head on my 305 so i was told that i have to change my intake well if i get the edelbrock preformer vortec will i be able to put all the original stuff back on the new intake like the egr?? if any one have pix of this intake or can explain this to me i would be much apreciated

 

EGR specifically won't hook back up no matter what intake you use. The Vortec heads don't have EGR passages. You could use the external tubing arrangement like the ZZ4, but that's more stuff you'd have to buy. AFAIK all the other things ought to work, if Edelbrock put the right fittings and so forth into that intake.
