Hey,

Ive heard that you can convert hemi heads to work with a 440 block. Anyone have any details on doin this? This would be a pretty uncommon swap and very powerful, maybe Im just dreaming.

Yes I have, I have some old magazines from the early 90s. Their is an article about a company who did this conversion. They machined the regular B or RB block down and attached an adapter with some super adhesive and like 30 machine screws. It actually held together but it was super $ 'cuz it still required custom pistons and more machine work because the pushrods went through the water jacket. When Mopar started making Hemi blocks again, the company was out of business in no time. Point is, with hemis easily availible and no more expensive, this is a waste of time now.

9.0L Firebird - Do you have any pics of your car? I'd love to see what 9 litres actually looks like.
