Computer swap
Computer swap
Im swapping my v6 in my 84 firebird for a 305 or a 350 v-8 and was wondering what kind of computer i would need to make it work. could i just pull the computer out of the v8 car and stick it in the v6 car or could i just disable the computer?

By "the V8 car", do you mean you have a factory V8 donor car? If so, then yes, use that computer. You'll want the engine harness as well.
You can use non-computer controlled carb and distributor. If you already have a V8 CC setup, though, it would certainly be cheaper to keep it that way.
