lt1

hi want to put a lt1 in 1992 camaro v6 just wanted to know how much of a pain of a *** it is going to be. my dad told me to build up the suspension. i got tokico front struts and kyb agx's for the back i just got a strut tower bar for it and then i am going to get rear control arms and subframe connectors then motor mounts what else do i need to do. HELP PLEASE!!!

Well start by saying that it may not be worth it condsidering the value of a v6 camaro. Also, you'll have to switch the brake lines from the passenger side up to the driver side. Also you'll have to redo the whole suspension like your where sayin. Hmm...also you'll need another transmission...if you're able to get the one that came with the engine it will help your life alot. Also you'll need a fuel pump from a tpi or Lt1.

As far as for the electronic, you can do your own or you can purchase a painless wiring or maybe a Accel wiring harness...

Also there's the VATS issue, these engine are protected by anti thief system witch work with the key ... you may bypass it or get your ECM reprogrammed.

The cross-member will need to be hammered down on the passenger side near the engine mount and you'll also have to modify this same motor mount.

Now the exaust... you'll need a sbc manifold or headman shorty's headers...with a y-pipe .
