Engine: 307ci V-8
Transmission: 700r4
Engine Locked In Bird Need Help!
My engine locked up in my 1984 Firebird that I JUST BOUGHT!!! it was a stock 305, would it be possible to a 1986 Camaro Z28 Engine into it and would it have more power??

It certainly could be put in. The power part depends upon what engine each had. If the '84 was an L69 and the '86 is an LG4, the answer is "no". If both are LG4's, then the '86 is slightly more powerful, but the knock sensor & ECM from the '86 would be helpful as well.
Either one would respond well to the type of mods I did. Exhaust is an especially restrictive area on these cars.

The 84 is/was an LG4 and i don't have any clue what the 86 is so i am guessing that it would be a horsepower improvment am i right??
