1.6 stamped steel rocker arms

Is any using 1.6 stamped steel rocker arms as opposed to the the rollers in order to save some extra cash, If so, how were your results and are you satisfied? (also were did you get them?)

These rockers will only give you more lift. If you do get them, Make sure they are the self-alining type. If they are not, they may slip off the valves. This happened to me and I bent my one of my push rods really bad so I put the 1.5's back on. I did not notice a differance when I went back to the 1.5's.

I would not waste a penny on stamped rockers. Whatever the additional "theoretical" ratio they claim, because they bend so much, the actual lift they will transmit to the valve is far less than what you will get from real rockers.

Get the Comp Magnum roller-tip ball-fulcrum ones; they're less than $200, and they don't bend. I would bet money that the 1.5 "theoretical" version of them will produce more lift, and more consistency from one valve to the next, than any stamped rockers of any ratio.
