Why do you have to switch the knock sensor? What's the difference, what would be the effect of not switching? Thanks

The word on the street is that they are tuned to different frequencies. Some people have reported using the 305 sensor & module on a 350 with no problems, others have said it gave them fits until they switched to the 350 pieces.

Knock "signature" or the frequency of vibration that it makes, is a function of bore size. The sensor and module are tuned for these different frequency signals.
