There are a few of us.

iroc-si:
Based in Edinburgh, 85 IROC, 350, 5 speed.

Dr G:
Based in Glasgow, 89 GTA, 350, auto.

Myself:
Based in Glasgow, 87 BLACK IROC (faster than the white ones), 305, slipping auto. I'm the underdog with the 305.

A guy called Alan who lives in Airdrie, I can't remember his screen name. Blue IROC I believe.

There is another I'm sure who lives in Inverness, but I don't believe he posts very much.

I'm sure some of the others will chime in.

Robert

I'd hardly call your IROC an underdog, it's one strong beast! Arnie in a dinner suit!

Theirs also a black Camaro in Ayrshire now, though I don't think he frequents TGO.

Boydee, I take it you are boydmutch under a new name? Same avatar I believe.

I live in Gourock ( though I come from Glasgow ) - Mine's an '82 Trans Am, 305 - totally standard with t-tops, original wheels with the black bowling ball hubcaps etc etc - had it for over 5 years now - used to use it regularly up until late 2000, however I don't drive it much anymore except for it's yearly trip to the mot station.

Hoping that will all change fairly soon when all of the ongoing niggles are finally ironed out.

Car is red over black in colour, but should be getting a respray done in black in the next month or so ....

Alan who? The one in Airdrie? If so I'll look the e-mail out for you. It's the only Alan I know of on here.

Just resurecting an old post but I heard tales of another couple of camaros spotted in the edinburgh area, and today I saw a grey one on queensferry road. Anyone from on here?

Also heard tell of a red one seen in the broughton side of Edinburgh and a while back I saw a light blue camaro on maybury road.

These things are getting a bit common..... thankfully still no others in bright yellow!

We have a lot of 3rdgens up here in the Dundee - Tayside area now, but the problem seems to be that although most seem to be on the net they don't use 3rdgen.org which is a shame.

And yes we do have a yellow one...

Boyd:- Hehe, spot the mistake in your abbreviation. www.3rdgen.org is a totally different site to this one - www.thirdgen.org !!!!

Cheers bud!

Hi RMK. Yes Alan from Airdrie ! I had hoped to make the Kyle Custom show this weekend but won't make it again. Always next year I suppose.

Boyd:- I was not at Americana this year, in fact I haven't been at a show since Billing Spring Nat's last year - where I saw several of the guys cars including Felix (ZZ42Fast) and Phils. Yet I didn't meet them!! Damn it!

If I wasn't busy this weekend I'd be up at Crail having a shot down the strip! It's looking like good weather for it.

boydee,

Only 11 months to confirm it, not bad. I don't think he has the IROC anymore. I seem to remember e-mailing him when you first posted this and I think he sold it. That explains why he doesn't post here anymore. I can't even remember what his screen name was it was so long ago.

btw, you need to get a digital camera along to your meet and get some photos of the thirdgens that attend. It'd be nice to see them.

You should see the wheels, freshly powder-coated & baked, with a hint of metallic flakes otherwise known as silverspeckle
