Hello From Spain

Hi, I am an American living in Seville, Spain. Just purchased my 1989 Firebird last week. It is only a 2.8 L V6 but the car runs well and i got it for 1,000 euro, so i can´t complain too much. I have plans for the car after i finish my 400hp Nissan 200sx(240sx in the states). For right now just looking at lowering and stiffening the chasis, new paint job, K&N intake(if they make one), and just enjoying driving the car. Plans for the future will probably involve swapping in a V8. I am a mechanic and find the car very easy to work on and it is a fun car to drive around and just enjoy. Here are a few pics of the car:

Hope to learn alot here about these cars. I plan on changing the color in the future, i really dont like it yellow lol.

Thanks for looking,
-Terry

Hello...WELCOME to the board.

Nice bird you have. Must be rather rare to see firedirds in Spain.

Must admit I rather like the colour.

Whats with the decal on the side mirror?

Hello Terry and welcome to TGO. That bird looks in real good condition. So you think you got a good deal... just how much is 1000 euro's? I can't imagine there are a lot of american V8's there or am I wrong. Do they have junk yards around there with 350's so you can do your swap? Are you an independant mechanic or work for a dealership? Inquiring minds want to know

James
