Camaro in Sicily.
I am finally moving to Sicilia. I just recently shipped my Camaro which will arrive 22 December. I will be there December 7.
I am looking forward to racing at autodromo siracusa, pergusa, and racalmuto.
If there are any other enthusiasts in Sicily or in the area, I'd love to hear from you. I am bringing a lot of tools and will be looking for a workshop.
Hope someone is out there!
Ciao
Pablo

Re: Camaro in Sicily.
I am here. I've already made some Italian friends into cars. One of which has a couple of corvettes. Managed to get a house with a huge garage so I am stoked but I haven't moved in yet. Driving the camaro gets a lot of looks.
The pavement on some small back roads is BRUTAL. It feels like I am off-roading. But the highways are very good and Italians are way better drivers than Americans. Everywhere they drive you would swear they were racing nascar at bristol. They love racing. Instead of U.S. football, baseball, basketball, and hockey, they are huge into cycling, motorcycle racing, kart racing, and auto racing. Going fast on wheels is a big deal here, second only to soccer. Pretty much a heaven for me since I don't give a crap about the bat and ball sports.
I am rethinking running very hard at the tracks here because the US Govt has arranged things so that if you wreck your car or if it's not drivable to ship back, they will take it from you and "scrap" it. You are not allowed to take any parts from it, and they don't compensate you in any way.
It's basically theft, which the government seems to be pretty good at these days.
Other than that, the food here is amazing. They try to kill you with the amount of food they put in front of you. Love it.
Hope to post up some racing pictures soon.

prosconst,
I am on the opposite end from Marsala. I am going to be living at the base of Mt Etna near Catania in a small town called Mascalucia. I hope to be able to visit Marsala soon enough though. If you come back to visit shoot me a msg.
Kmcn47, haha, I can do that, except for the girls. My wife might get pissed off about it
As far as that goes this place can make it hard to just keep looking forward, sooooo much "talent" walking around
