Exhaust Pipe Problem.
I trying to tidy up the exhaust on my 82 Firebird. It has the 2.8L V6 engine. I want to get the section from the manifolds on each side of the engine then goes under the sump and then turns where the cat used to be. I have gone to three exhaust places here in Ireland and none of them can bend a pipe. What has happened to this country. I was wondering is there anywhere in the UK I can buy the sections and weld them together myself. The sections I need there are quite a few bends on them.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, I suppose I do. See you are in the US. You probably have no bother in getting these. I on the other hand can't.

Found this but it says 85 and up

Maybe someone in the exhaust section can tell you what needs to be done to make it fit. I would post there.

Re: Exhaust Pipe Problem.
Thanks, that looks very close. Shouldn't be much modification to be done but will post in exhaust section.

Re: Exhaust Pipe Problem.
HI i recently purchased a kit from summit dule pipe kit from front to back $198 plus shiping its for a 5.0 and bolts to the headers .with a bit of cuting and welding im sure you could adapt it to fit .fited mine on a 5.0 firebird scraped the cat put a crossover in place a pair of cherry boms on the end .freed up a lot of power sounds good and did not cost a fortune
