hey guys,my name's laurent,i live in the south west of france
i own a '82 Z/28 E since 2011,which was assembled in switzerland and imported to france in the early 90's
i swapped the 305 LG4/TH200 metric combo for a '69 350 L48/TH350
one month ago,the tranny went out of third gear, which means it needs to be rebuilt
but i'm tired of doing this (second time in 5 years),so i plan to convert her to manual transmission
my problem is that i can't find any Tremec T5Z world class in my country
this is my baby, please help me get her back on the roads

I had no idea that thirdgens were also assembled in Switzerland. Is that accurate?
All I could glean from the web was some 60s Camaros built there, with the last GM car produced there in 1975. I wonder if they prepped imported 80’s Z’s?

super cool that you have a 3rd gen in France! i was watching Swiss hill climbs on youtube and saw a black 3rd gen, so strange to see a 3rd gen camaro in with all the euro-box cars - that really looks like a riot! hope you get your trans fixed!
matt
The 1 at the beginning means the country of assembly, and being a 1 it was assembled in the USA. 1 for USA, 2 for Canada and J for Japan according to the GM parts book
