my 1988 iroc 350 tpi.Hi can any one explain what the round bracket is at the corner of the stock cross over exhaust pipe it is on the passenger side just by the corner as it turns to the back I was wondering is it an earth or an exhaust support bar bracket. I seem to remember my 1987 iroc had some thing like this welded there to the pipe.The end of this thing has a flat end about half inch long.Thanks for any one help.

I finally found it out to be the air tube from the air pump passenger side to the cat that had been removed.
