I took mine to our sponsors exhaust shop-sure glad I did. They ended up pulling off A/C condensor, power booster/master cylinder. Grunts in the shop got in a hurry and snapped 6 of the exhaust manifold bolts off in the head so they had to drill them out and heli-coil them. It was there for a week while they fought the crusty bolt problems and tried to figure out an exhaust route compromise. In the end though they have a super fit-no dents for clearance and plenty of room for plugs, oil filter, starter. Someone posted removeing steering shaft to gain better access, and I guess pass. side fits up in there O.K., kinda? If you can perform any kinda of service or have something you can offer talk to the guy in charge and usually something can be worked out. Have done this my whole life and things are finally coming around so I can cash in.

My father in law and I put my Hedmen Hedders on in about 10 hours. We had to raise up the engine to clear the passenger side. You will have to remove the a/c compressor and bracket, and cut the back "arm" off of the bracket to clear the #1 tube. he engine will only have to be raised about 6-8 inches or so. Once the hedders are in, there should not be any clearence problems.

I put my hedman headers on in about 45 min. Already had all the ac stuff and heater hoses off, took off the valve cover and passenger side droped right in, Drivers side took removeing the upper steering bolt, and a big two by four, lol took that valve cover off and the alternator, placed the two by four between the steering shaft and the very front of the head right where the valve cover and the alternator was on and started pushin, oh yeah then I couldent do it and undid the tranny mount and raised the tranny enough to clear the bolt goin through the cross member then tried again and it fell right in, took a lot of **** behnd that pushin though, another person would have been awesome. Remember that 45 min was just puttin on... i started fresh with nothin, a rebuilt engine, dident have to take old manifolds off, and the jack was already under the car.
