Do you guys know where there is a picture of the inside? If not, wanna try taking one for me? No big deal, just sounds like an interesting design.

This isn't the Moroso, but it's the same idea:

looks like a whole lot of restriction to me

unless it goes through the straight pipe which would make sense....... but that diagram makes it look like the exhaust goes around the spirals.

I went to the local muffler shop and they charged me $270 for a the whole installation including a 3in pipe from the y- collector to the back of the car, the muffler connected where the resonator originally is, and a 3 inch cat. it was $105 for a normal (hi flow cat was $180)cat.

isnt that too much?
They also said they couldnt install my flowmaster y-collector because it didnt fit...something I already knew-but I just thought they could have a way to weld it into place.

And something that really got to me was when they started laughing at the moroso muffler (which I showed them) and said it was TOO restrictive.

anyway Im going tommorow to another shop and see what there price is.

I got my exhaust put on today and man is it DEEP-- Mustang 5.0 deep. It would be better if it were a bit more loud though. And something I forgot to tell them was to change the y-collector to 3in. they put a 3in cat after the y pipe. I'll probably go on the weekend to get it changed. Overall im really really happy with the sound.

I could probably get the sound clip by next week.
