coated headers??????
This may sound like a stupid question but what is the purpose of having coated headers? I know it makes it so you cant see the color change but is there another reason performance, sound, or otherwise?

What he said, they'll keep under hood temps down, causing better performance, and will protect your plug wires a little better.

I know that the Jet-Hot coating is supposed to flow better than if they were uncoated because everything is smoothed out with the coating. Jet-Hot coats the inside and outside of headers. But it is also for looks and depending on the coating you get, can keep under hood temps down. I noticed a huge difference with my headers vs the stock manifolds (mine are Jet-Hot coated). Later
