Headers

Hey

I am going to order the hooker catback system in a couple of weeks. I am going to have to wait a while for the headers because I dont have enough money at the time. How much of a sound difference on my car will I notice with just the catback. Will It still sound good. I talked to the guy and he said that a Catback will give me the most HP. The headers just add on a couple HP. So I am wondering what kinda sound will I get from just the hooker catback. How will the sound change with the headers and catback.

Thanks

i think i noticed more power from getting rid of the cat and putting headers on than from my flowmaster catback...headers made the car MUCH deeper and helped performance wise...i love the sound now its pretty nice its not quiet as loud as open headers tho the ride down with open headers was insane so loud i got beside a 5.0 and he about **** himself :hail:

Headers will give you more HP. The stock manifolds and y-pipe are more of a restriction on your stock motor than your cat-back. You'll definately notice sound improvement with the cat-back, but headers will add to it.

kinda sucks that the exhaust shop only put a 2.25inch y pipe instead of a 2.5 inch they said it wouldnt fit i know it would but oh well the bends are smooth and im sure its still an approvement over the stock one...the pass side collector is welded straight into the pipe why wont a 2.5 fit? i thought some people had 3''??
