ported exhaust manifolds

I know this isn't as good as headers, but when paired with a highflow y-pipe, will it help much?

I hear L98 manifolds flow the best compared to other 3rdgen manifolds + the porting, are you planning on buying them? If so I would just save your money for some cheap headers.

No I'm not gonna buy some. I want to port my own. I want to know if it's worth the trouble or not though.
