You need high temperature hose - expensive, but the only thing that can handle the heat.

Usually sold as an air injection repair kit. Not sure there will be a foot there, but if not, you can use hard tube fastened to the system with this high temp hose.

Go to a muffler shop! I had mine repaired when I had my exhaust redone and the guy said it was so cheap, he just threw it in for free!

muffler shop wanted $20 to do it, which isn't that bad EXCEPT.
i have a gutted cat and don't know if it will pass. don't wanna spend that money twice in case i have to get a new cat.

i think i'll use heater hose, it'l only be on there for about 20 min.

I am pretty certain that the heater hose will not last long enough to get you out of the driveway. Places like AutoZone and Checker have those repair kits but I would venture to say that they are going to cost you the same as what that muffler shop wants. And if they hook that AIR pipe up to your straight pipe setup and you end up needing a cat, why would you have to pay for it again? They will need to hook that up to a cat anyways if you get a cat to put on there.... .

Im going to eventualy get a cat, but i have to get some more important things done first.. Ya the heater hose started to burn, guy came in and was like " ya got something burning on ur exhaust, smells like rubber, you might wanna check it out" i just told him i would when i got home. I havent checked the hose to see weather or not it is still connected.. I'll try autozone tomorrow.

Under scientific experimentation, my analysis is that 12" corigated culvert pipe is superior to all!!!! The obscure surface ocillation adds to mixture motion and flame propogation! 5-2 over and out! p.s. That's a half a$$ 10-4 good buddy! This should create an advert vaccum to develop a most scrupulous exhaust tone-a-matic!
