does anyone have sound clips of before and after adding headers. i put headers on my car and i really can not tell the difference. maybe its because i didnt drive the car for 2 weeks before i put on the headers. anyone have sound clips or links to sites where i could hear some? i really want to know which headers sound the best.

 

sorry I don't have a sound clip for ya bud, but I will tell ya that the difference is there. I noticed it driving down the road and when I fire down on it. I have also heard the cat can affect the sound when you do the header swap. I don't know, never had a cat

 

ive never had one either. maybe if my ypipe wasnt so restrictive i could tell a differnce. i think i have a pretty original exhaust set up though. i have a ypipe into a flowmaster where the cat is. and a turn down. should be loud but its not for some reason. the ypipe is a tangled mess of 2 1/4 pipe and bends and crimps and twists. i just bought the ypipe made for my headers which is a mandrel one and im gonna order the hooker catback soon. i hope i can tell a difference then.
