put new cat back and now every time i go over a Bump it makes a scraping sound ??
i just put a new cat back 3in I pipe and 80 ser Flomaster and some chome tips now every time the back of the car goes down it makes a stomac twisting sound but when i check for any damaged parts there is no sign of damage .
so i have to be like a ***** and go over bumps slow any help or comments > >>

It could be a hanger that is loose and is rubbing on the pipes or frame. It it possible that you wouldn't see any damage underneath, but you would hear a really bad sound. You might want to check to make sure everything is tight and welded together and nothing is rubbing.

I had/have the same problem. The 3" exhaust does hang down a little lower towards the middle of the car, at least on the ones that I have seen. I have scraped mine up pretty good since I got it. I know what you are saying though about not seeing any damage. I was hitting the pipe that comes out of the Cat, but when I looked under there, nothing appeared to be damaged. After a while, and when I got under there and changed my oil on day, I noticed that is where I was hitting. I have just learned to go a bit slower over bumps, and sometimes angling over a bump to prevent that from happening. I hope that might help you.
