Surprised no one has responded. But, you're back to the top now.

If replacing factory dual cats, you want two 2-1/4" cats, not 3". I don't have them myself, but I believe I've heard the universal type works.

Not that you asked, but I've heard that Random Tech cats flow much better than either catco or car-sound.

I bought my direct fit Catco hi-flows from Summit. They have a separate part number for left and right.

for future reference to anyone here's the part numbers from summit,

CTO-9401 2-1/4 in. slip fit inlet and outlet, left side, direct fit
CTO-9402 2-1/4 in. slip fit inlet and outlet, right side, direct fit

they are each around 140$, which almost makes random seem worth the extra 40 dollars overall for the random tech cats (160 each).

so i'm even more undecided what to do now

I'm at work, so I don't have the numbers, sorry. If you look under Exhaust/Cats/Catco/Direct Fit, they're on the third page. Expect 134$ for one and 139$ for the other, but they bolt right up to the stock place. 2 1/4" in/out on both.
